It also provides digital entertainment services such as music streaming and video-on-demand through its subsidiary, Airtel Xstream.

Project Details

• The client sought engaging entertainment platforms – a website and mobile application – to target users across multiple platforms worldwide.
• They wanted to integrate a secure payment gateway and support various codecs on both the Android and iOS platforms.

Our Approach

• BigOhTech collaborated with Bharti Airtel Ltd. to develop the video-on-demand application named Airtel Xstream.
• A customized solution was developed that allows users to play videos through EXO Player in both HLS (iOS/Android) and DASH (Android).
• Users can play videos in their preferred quality, enhancing the user experience.
• A reliable application with a secure payment gateway was built as per the requirement.

• Airtel Xstream aims to reach 20 million paid subscribers while diversifying its content and partner list soon.
