Key skills:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or in Engineering/Science OR an equivalent combination of training and experience
- 2-4 years of solid project management experience within a technical environment
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies, principles and practices
- Experience in development or software lifecycle, and programming knowledge with a strong technical background in web and/or mobile applications
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff/clients
- Proven mentoring, supervisory and team-building skills
- Flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings or weekends when required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, start-up environment managing multiple projects and a large volume of work
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Responsibilities:
- Should have minimum 2-4 years of experience in the related field.
- Act as the primary project and development contact with clients and assess business needs in order to develop and outline Statements of Work and Specifications based on customer requirements
- Define project scope, deliverables, schedule, budget and tasks lists
- Manage project scheduling, estimating, forecasting, budget monitoring, reporting and other project documents
- Communicate the schedule, task priorities and status to project team members, the client, and management on an ongoing basis
- Provide on-time delivery of deliverables including requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and post-deployment activities
- Account for project issue, risk and conflict resolution
- Control scope/schedule/cost through strong adherence to Change Management processes
- Ability to define project management processes, tools and templates as required for the project
- Organize, document, and communicate project post-mortem analysis
- Coordinate demos to business stakeholders and end-users to continuously validate product direction and business goal alignment.
- Develop, implement and modify team metrics to help provide an accurate indicator of team progress toward goals
- Manage product backlogs to ensure that current and future work for development teams will deliver business value.
- Facilitate conversations, activities, and experiences to help build a continuous improvement culture.
