Founded in 1994 by Vikaas Gutgutia with just one flower shop in Delhi, India, FnP has expanded significantly. It currently has more than 400 functional outlets across India and several other countries. 

With a strong network of local vendors and suppliers who help the company offer fresh and high-quality products to its customers, FnP has become a trusted household name in a short span. The company has received several awards and recognitions for its services, including the ‘Best E-commerce Website Award’ at the Indian e-Retail Awards 2013 and the ‘Best Florist Award’ at the Indian Retail Awards 2015, adding multiple feathers to its cap.

Design, Development & Launch


  • During the revamp of its back-office portals, the client faced issues with the promotion engine module. 
  • They needed to bind the promotion engine microservices into their back-office module and required the flexibility to perform CRUD operations on the coupons generated on the website. 
  • The client was under a time crunch as the festive season was approaching, leading to higher engagement and increased coupon creation and redemption. 
  • Additionally, the client wanted to partner with redemption providers, enabling users to redeem coupons on other platforms.

Our Approach

  • BigOhTech came to the rescue of FnP and designed all the possible P&Cs for coupon code management. 
  • We created a provision for generating coupons and performing CRUD operations on the web. 
  • After BigOhTech’s intervention, the unit test and code coverage score for the developed platform was more than 98%, with zero warnings and errors on the linting tools. 
  • We developed both the front-end and back-end modules in less than two months. 
  • The client also partnered with various third parties, such as payment providers and banking partners.
